Free Amendment 13 website check
Amendment 13 to Israel's Privacy Protection Law has applied since August 2025, and the Privacy Protection Authority is already fining. This checks whether what your site publishes about privacy covers what the law requires.
What this checks
- A privacy policy is linked from the site, and in Hebrew
- The right to access and correct data is explained
- A privacy officer contact is published
- The purposes of processing are stated
- A retention and deletion policy is disclosed
- A direct-marketing opt-out, if the site sends marketing
- Disclosure of transfers abroad, if any
- A collection notice where forms collect data
The check reads the home page and the privacy policy it links to. It checks what the site says, not what the organisation does: database registration, data security and internal procedures are not visible from outside. This is not legal advice.
